Meet Kelly

Name:	Kelly Sherrard
Role:	Leading Teacher – Curriculum and Assessment
How long have you worked at Jackson?	I began at Jackson School towards the end of 2017. Prior to Jackson, I worked at Manor Lakes College for 7 years, Sunshine SDS for 11 years and in London for 12 months.
Where are you from?	I spent my Primary years in Kilmore, about 45 mins out of Melbourne, before moving to Bendigo for High School and University.
Likes & Interests:	I love spending time with my family either playing board games, geocaching or going for bike rides. I also love getting creative, heading to the movies and hanging out with my friends.
Dislikes:	Tofu and Kidney Beans!
Favourite Sport:	I grew up swimming and playing netball, still love them both, as well as watching the footy – Go Bombers!!
Favourite Music:	I can’t go past any live music! I just recently went to see Ed Sheeran, he was amazing! I also like 80’s and Rock.

Name:	Gabi Maher
Role:	Learning Specialist (Professional Learning) and Year 3/4 PLT Leader
How long have you worked at Jackson?	Almost 7 years.
Where are you from?	I am from Wagga Wagga, in NSW. I completed my teacher training in Wagga and taught there briefly before moving to London. I spend a year in London working as a casual teacher. I moved to Melbourne in 2016 and have been at Jackson ever since!
Likes & Interests:	I like walking my dog, travelling, and spending time with my family and friends.
Dislikes:	Brussels sprouts!
Favourite Sport:	I enjoy watching basketball and AFL, particularly a live game.
Favourite Music:	I enjoy a variety of music. Once again, particularly live music.
