Math's in 3C

3C have been working really hard on addition and subtraction skills. They are learning about the jump strategy, compensation strategy, split strategy and turn around facts. Look at the awesome work they have achieved so far!

Math's in 5F

Last week Stage 3 explored addition in Mathematics. On Monday 5F and Miss Ford brainstormed all the terms that mean addition. As a class, we spoke about mental strategies and how we can use them to solve addition problems. 5F students then used these mental strategies to solve problems while playing a variety of Math's games. We had fun while we learnt!
