From the Principal

Nicholas Boyhan

Dear Parents and Carers,

Well that was a hot end to the week.  I hope you all managed to get through it okay.  The cool change has brought some welcome relief with much cooler temperatures today.  We have rescheduled yesterday afternoon/evening's F/1/2 Barbecue to Friday 3 March.  We are hopeful the weather conditions will be more suitable for such an event.

Uniform Requirements

Thank you to parents and carers for supporting us so well with the implementation of our Uniform Policy.  In the past I have had a number of concerns expressed by parents that they are insisting their children wear their correct uniform while other children pick and choose what they wear.  The vast majority of children are wearing the required uniform consistently and it is appreciated when parents contact the classroom teacher when this is not possible.  We will be continuing to acknowledge and affirm the students who consistently do the responsible thing this term.

We usually allow a short grace period at the beginning of each year for families to ensure their children have all the required items.  It is hoped that all children would have their uniform sorted by this stage.  There are excellent quality items in a range of sizes available from the Second Hand Uniform Shop for the price of just a gold coin per item.  Parents wishing to purchase second hand items are invited to contact Alison at the office on 59671183 to arrange a time to look at what is available.
