HOW TO APPLY FOR CSEF

Families holding a valid means-tested concession card or temporary foster parents are eligible to apply.

Your means tested concession card must be valid on the first day of term one 2023 (31/1/2023) or the first day of term two 2023 (24/4/2023), and be one of the following cards -

- Veterans Affairs Gold Card
- Centrelink Health Care Card
- Pensioner Concession Card

- Students of 16 years or older who hold a valid concession card (such as a Youth      Allowance Health Care Card) are eligible to apply.

The eligible parent/legal guardian or student must submit an application by the closing date of 23rd June 2023.

If you successfully applied for the CSEF at Sunbury College in 2022, you do not need to complete an application form in 2023 unless there has been a change in your family circumstances or you have a new student to add.  Using data from your original CSEF application at Sunbury College, each following year the school will automatically send your details to Centrelink for card validation.  If your card does not validate for 2023 you will receive a letter notifying you of the reason.

You need to complete an application form in 2023 if any of the following applies:

- eligible new student enrolments at all year levels.   This includes all Year 7 students.

- changed family circumstances such as a change of custody, change of name, concession card number, or new siblings commencing at the school in 2023.

- If you enrolled at Sunbury College in 2022, after applying for CSEF at a previous school, then you need to fill out a new CSEF application for 2023.

Check with the school office if you require clarification.
