Year 12 Friendly soccer match at brunch ⚽️

The Year 12’s hosted a friendly brunch soccer match today. Student turnout and cheer squads were phenomenal and all in the spirit of healthy competition. The result was 1-0 to the VCE students. This is a weekly match between VCE & VCE VM students.

The cheer squad is working on their Mexican wave for next week's friendly! 👯‍♀️

VCE Vocational Major students

Our VCE Vocational Major students created teamwork protocols using a circular brainstorming strategy.

Their final protocols were mature and considered:

• Meet deadlines
• Ensure an even workload
• Have passion for work
• Communicate effectively
• Bring a positive attitude

They then put their protocols into practice, working together to create a paper tower- with mixed results!

Year 12 Big Day Out 

Year 12 Big Day Out this year was hosted by ACU City Campus. Our Year 12’s were treated to a number of workshops across the day and evening.

Students had the opportunity to hear about pathways to Uni & TAFE, self-care and insights from our 2022 Dux Melissa Vang and some of our high achievers.

The Senior School team put on a pizza dinner in the Fitzroy Gardens and then a trip back to Lakeside Receptions to meet parents. 🍕

Motivational speaker Nathan Hulls shared his insights on how to manage the pressure of Year 12 and how to set up their year with a team of supporters. 📣

Our Year 12’s have set the bar high already with their approach to their studies and homework club. Good luck to our Year 12’s on their journey ahead this year. 👏🏼
