Specialist - Visual Arts

It’s been a very busy (and messy!) time in the art room with Foundation and Year 1/2 students involved in exploring still life paintings. They have created their own spring flower still life drawings/paintings and have achieved amazing results! Check out the photos!

Year 3-6 students have explored construction and paper skills and have designed and created a cardboard house.  It’s been great to see students working co-operatively and helping each other to achieve amazing results. Check out the photos!

Our last unit for the year is a threads and textiles project.  Foundation-Year 2 will be creating a hessian wall hanging, while Year 3-6 will be sewing a Christmas stocking or a felt cushion.
