CANNELL, Eric Anthony  (SVC1986-91) 

28.04.1974 - 19.10.2022. Died suddenly and tragically in Sydney. Dearly beloved second eldest son of Caterina and Tony (dec). Adored and cherished brother of Owen (SVC 1986-90), Paul  (SVC 1989-94) and Mark (SVC 1991-94).

FOALE  John Peter "Skipper" (SVC1964-73)

14.07.1954 - 6.10.2022. Passed away peacefully in Hobart, in the presence of his five loving daughters. Second eldest son of Kevin (Peter)  (SVC1937-44) and Mary Foale (both dec). Devoted and much loved father and friend of Caitlin, Natalie, Bridget and Todd, Molly, and Gabrielle. Treasured brother and brother-in-law to Graeme (SVC 1962-71) and Julie Foale, Robert (SVC 1965-74) and Anne Foale, Mary Foale (dec), Rosemary and Brendan Dwyer (dec), Damian (SVC 1965-75) and Lee Foale, Catherine and Brendan Kelly, Louise and Giovanni Paoli and Richard Foale (dec).

LOWRIE, Margaret (Jean)

19.10.1932 - 12.10.2022. Passed away peacefully at home. Beloved wife of Hon Ken Lowrie OBE, OAM ( SVC 1939-44 d. 2012).  Ken was inducted onto the St Virgil’s College Heritage Roll in 2006. Beloved Mother and Mother-in-law of Margot & Lou, Peter (svc 1968-74) & Angelique, Michelle & Errol Schwenger, Helen & Guy Kent, Richard (svc 1976-84) & Mandy and Nanny Jean to Bonnie, Jack, Sean, Michael, Olivia & William.

VERMEY, Bruce David  (SVC 1985-90)

18.04.1972 – 23.09.2022. Passed away 2022 in Western Australia. Bruce was the SVC deputy head prefect in 1990 and captained the victorious athletics team in the same year. 

Dearly loved son of Rhonda and Guy (dec). Dearly loved brother and brother-in-law of Jane and Greg Swan, Craig and Natalie Vermey, Lisa and Michael Reidy, Tricia and Glenn King.

26.03.1931 -14.10.2022. Father of Matthew (SVC 1969-76).

O’DEA, Mary Bernadette (nee Seager) 

21.06.1930 – 28.10.2022. Loved mother of Martin (SVC 1973-77) and Gerry (SVC 1973-77).

PETERS CFC, Br Russell Edward (SVC Staff 1961, 1972, 1991-96)

Brother Russell Edward Peters cfc died on Monday October 24 2022 at Mercy Place, Rice Village, Marshall. Beloved son of Thomas Edward and Lorna May (McCusker) (both dec) and much-loved brother of Dennis and Marlene and a highly respected member of the Christian Brothers. Aged 82 years. May he rest in peace.

WISS, Robin Fay 

Passed away peacefully on October 29 2022. Much loved wife of Dennis (SVC 1953-59) Loved and loving mother and mother-In-law of Martin (SVC 1980-83), Alison and Brett and Stephen. Cherished Grandma of Austin and Zaria. An inspiration to all who knew her.
