Farewell, Mr Hernandez
Pyjama Day!
In Week 7 our Year 12 fundraising committee held a Pyjama day!
It was also the final day for our Year 12 Adviser, Mr Hernandez.
Mr Hernandez has made a huge impact on our Year 12 students and will be terribly missed. Here's a message for Mr Hernandez from Year 12:
On behalf of Year 12 we would like to thank Mr Hernandez for all he has done for us and all the funny, sad and memorable moments we had together. Throughout all the years you have been with us, you have helped us all achieve success in our school years and prepared us for the world outside of school, showing us the options and paths we can take to get to where we want to be, you will be missed greatly, thank you.
Year 12 Class of 2022
Prefect Camp
In Week 5 we were lucky enough to spend 2 nights and 3 days at the beautiful facilities at Collaroy, where the we attended the Prefect Camp.
Whilst there we engaged in a range of challenging activities that tested our skills while having fun.
The aim of the Prefect Camp is to allow student leaders to establish the goals we want to achieve as a prefect group.
The camp also created opportunities for us to develop our public speaking skills,
leadership skills and group decision-making skills.
We had so much fun over the three days with our teachers and with each other.
Throughout the camp we grew stronger, encouraging and supporting each other to take
on the big swing, tree tops and flying fox.
Alongside our Year Adviser Hernandez, we all participated in an exciting muddy game of laser tag.
Overall, it was great opportunity to bond as group, learning and creating new ideas, which we hope to implement during our final term of high school.
