Year 4 Wellbeing

News

In year four students have been working towards understanding help-seeking strategies in the classroom, playground and at home. They have learnt to identify communication skills that enhance peer support and help-seeking as well as identify a range of conflict resolution and help-seeking strategies to negotiate positive outcomes to problems. They have discussed the concept of leadership and identified situations where it is appropriate to adopt this role. Furthermore, they can describe and apply strategies that can be used in situations that make them feel uncomfortable or unsafe. During one lesson, students explored the notion of trust and how they know they trust someone. They listed five trusted adults from who they would seek help from.
