NUDE FOOD WEDNESDAYS
Help Envirostars to save the planet by joining Nude Food Wednesdays.
Do you want to save money and help the environment? Join in with Nude Food Wednesdays and bring food with no wrappers in containers that can go home to be washed. Not only do wrappers create lots of rubbish and eventually go down the drains to the oceans, Melbourne is running out of huge landfills to dump rubbish in. It also saves heaps of money to buy items in bulk and put into smaller containers.
Envirostars will judge the best Nude Food lunch each Wednesday and that person will go into the draw for a fortnightly mini prize on Monday and an end of term larger prize.

WELCOME TO COUNTRY AND SMOKING CEREMONY
On Monday 30th of May which is week 6 of term 2, Carnegie Primary School will host a Bunurong Elder who will perform a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony. We are very lucky to have organised this for our Carnegie community as a part of Reconciliation Week 2022 that runs between the 27th of May and the 3rd of June. The ceremony will commence at approximately 9am. We are really looking forward to this as it is a significant milestone for CPS, being the first smoking ceremony performed within the school. We would love for you to join us in the quadrangle between the main building and the prep building for this event.
