School Improvement Team

It has certainly been a busy term for students and teachers in inquiry learning!! Last week we were privileged to have our Future Focused learning consultant, Lee Crockett , visit us at Mackellar, all the way from Japan!

He met with our outstanding teachers to run a professional development session on all things inquiry learning. Teachers were able to ask Lee questions and gained professional knowledge on how to increase student voice and agency within our classrooms. Staff are excited to be meeting with Kathleen during planning sessions this week to gain new insights into how to further our students in becoming active global citizens. 

The buzz around the classrooms has been exciting as students are developing their skills towards learning to be "Global Citizens" and contribute to the world they live in. Student engagement is high as the students take on projects to demonstrate the learning they have achieved during inquiry sessions in term 2.
