School Council 

Dear Parents, 

Thank you to those families who indicated they were intending to come to our parents' forum.  Unfortunately due to illnesses of those facilitating the night, this had to be postponed.  In the current environment, postponing a gathering is probably a wise thing to do regardless. We truly value your voice and opinion however, and we really want you to be a part of our next strategic plan.  That being so, plans are currently underway for a virtual gathering to ensure we hear your voice, yet in a safe (and warm) fashion. Please stay tuned for further details. 

Also as part of our school review, we are currently in the process of reviewing and expanding our Child Safety standards. You may recall these were recently updated, however the Department has expanded the scope of these, and as such we will review them again to ensure we are doing all we possibly can to ensure a safe environment for all children. For more information regarding the  Child Safety standards, please follow this link. We will of course keep you posted, and thank you to Tanya Lindsay-Clark for leading this work. 

Our next school council meeting is on June 22nd where we will be reviewing details from the staff forum, the variety of student forums held to date, as well as reviewing quotes to extend the interior panting and refurbishment of the classrooms.
