Student Achievements
Open Night
We would like to thank all of the students who gave up their time to speak, or take prospective families on tours of the college, at the Open Night on Wednesday, 4th May.
The evening started with a presentation, where several of our students (and senior staff) spoke eloquently about their time at Pakenham Secondary College. Matt Whiting and Maddie Fuller spoke about their experiences in Year 7, Charli Bryan spoke about her time at the school and in particular, Year 10, and our School Captains, Lakmini Fernando, Aleisha Lippis, Lucas Kiernan and Matt Blanco spoke about the extra-curricular activities the College offers, the VCE and VCAL programs, and our College Values.
A quote from Aleisha Lippis on the night was something for us all to remember:
"Always try your best, and never give up."
We thank all of our speakers, as well as the students, whose names appear below, who acted as tour guides on the night.
Bella Watkins (8.4)
Abigayle Smith (8.4)
Harrison Byron (9.7)
Jemma Kendal (10.1)
Yasmin Lambrinos (10.2)
Nazia Isa (10.7)
Yasmin also volunteered to speak about her positive experiences of being bilingual during her stops to the French room.
