All young activists welcome

Green Team is in full swing this term and meeting at lunchtimes on Thursdays in the Design Hub. We are working on a variety of sustainability awareness raising and direct action projects including Precious Plastics (pictured). We have lots of new members this year and all young activists are welcome to join us!

I got involved with the Green Team, because I thought it would be cool to try a new thing and help the environment instead of ruining it more.

I hope to be involved in using the plastics that are thrown away, to make new environmentally friendly products. I look forward to compressing plastics and using moulds to create cut outs which we can sell or hang around the school. We can also hang some out front, so passers-by can see it and feel that they too should do something.

I have a dream that one day, we can make the environment a better place by everyone actively trying to make a difference.
