Sarah Bannister
Sarah Bannister

My name is Sarah Bannister and I would like to be a representative of Clyde Primary's school council.

My family of six live in Clyde. Myself, husband  Chad our three children Crystal 16, Lucas 9,Eva 6 and Izzy our 5 month old pup. I am currently enrolled to study and enjoy reading books and family bike rides.

Some of you may recognise me as a volunteer at Friday's Breakfast club, I love making the toast.

I have really enjoyed being apart of the Clyde Primary community for the last three years  forming positive relationships with the staff, children and other parents. The school is already amazing, so I would love to be apart of Clyde Primary's future. Please consider my nomination to join the school council.

Hi, my name is Kylie. My daughter Kiera is in grade 3, my son Talon is in grade 2 and my triplets (Leonn, River & Freya) will be starting at Clyde Primary next year.

Since I joined the Clyde Primary community in 2018, I have involved myself in helping to improve it where I can; volunteering with my kids on their clean up day, the Bunnings sausage sizzle raising funds,

assisting with getting the library up and running so the kids could start borrowing books to name a few.

I assisted with breakfast club when my daughter started in foundation and have helped run it every year since, ensuring the resources benefit the children as much as possible.

I have been an active member of school council for the last 2 years. Unfortunately with COVID last year, I was unable to do as much as hoped.

That is why I've applied again and hope in re-electing me, to be able to give experience and continuity for our community and give it a voice for another 2 years.

Simone Armstrong
Simone Armstrong

Hi my name is Simone Armstrong. I’ve been happily married for 12 and we have two children. Georgia 8 (Grade 4) and Oliver 5 (Foundation).

I’m a registered nurse at Casey Hospital and I’ve been part of the Clyde Primary community since 2017.

It first started with Breakfast Club, I encouraged my shy little girl to join in as a way to help us both meet the people that make up the Clyde Primary family. Since then I’ve helped with numerous school and classroom activities; our Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, school banking (brief due to COVID but enjoyable), swimming carnival and classroom readings and parent helper on excursions.

I’m dedicated to my children’s education and passionate about Clyde Primary. I’ve built many rewarding and lasting relationships with the staff, parents and kids. I would love to be elected to school council to have an opportunity to help reinforce all the qualities I love about Clyde Primary.
