This is an outdoor event, so please ensure your child/children bring sunscreen and other suitable sun protection, such as a hat, preferably in house colours, protective clothing and plenty of fluids for the day.

The canteen will be closed on the day - please remember to BYO lunch!.

All students are expected to attend the Carnival and be aware of the following arrangements:

  • Students will report to school by 9.00am, ready to leave by bus to Doncaster by 9.15am.
  • All students are encouraged to wear their House colours to support their House.
  • This is a school event so the Education Department Mobile Phone Policy applies.

At the conclusion of the day, approximately 2.15pm, students will board the buses and return to school.

Programs for the day’s events will be available at the College Office soon.

Additional programs will be available through House Coordinators.

Sport News

What a HUGE few weeks of sport we have had.

Freya Wilson got 2nd in her age group for Discus at the State Championships, and has also qualified for Hammer and Discus at the nationals in Olympic Park in Term 2.

Eva Wilson has qualified in Hammer Throw for nationals in the U16 division and at the moment is ranked number 1 in the state.

Inter Boys Volleyball won through to the next round, as have Senior Boys Cricket.

Sadly the Girls Volleyball team didn’t get through, however the Intermediate Softball team won all their games and are through to the next level.

The Intermediate Cricket team recently went out and played a 12 over competition against 3 teams and beat them all, so play again for the Northern Zone final on March 11 - as do the Senior Boys Cricket. The next step from there is State!

We have 41 students out on Friday for District Swimming and we wish them all the best of luck.

There are a raft of photos here, so make sure you click through them to take a look at who participates.

This Labour Day weekend a lot of state and national titles are held, so if you participate in anything, be sure to let us know and we will mention you here too (and don’t forget the photos!).
