Literacy 

This term in 2F we have been focusing on inferencing to help with our reading comprehension. We learned that to infer we must use our prior knowledge and the information we read/see. 

Here are some examples of the work we have been doing in class. 

Picture Stimulus - What was Miss Farrelly doing at the weekend? 

Video Stimulus - What can you infer about Pip? 

Text Stimulus - What can you infer about Banjo and Ruby Red? 

We also used our knowledge of inferencing to help become better writers. Good writers show the reader instead of telling the reader. In the examples below we had to show the reader where the setting was instead of telling the reader.
