Grade 6 Ski Camp

Grade 6 students spent 3 days last week on the slopes of Mt Buller.  The weather was amazing for 2 of the 3 days, and the snow was magnificent. Students participated in ski lessons, manygraduating from the magic carpet to the ski slopes. On the final day of the camp, due to the high winds, students enjoyed time at AirZone, rock climbing and trampolining. At night a variety of delicious meals were served including butter chicken. In the evening students prepared and performed in their own talent show and enjoyed watching a movie snuggling under their doona. The skiers returned weary and happy, having for many, mastered the art of skiing!

District Hockey Results

Twelve students represented TPS at the Division Hockey tournament played at Hawthorn Hockey club last week. TPS finished a very credible equal runner up losing to the eventual winner, Trinity College 2 goals to 1 goal.

Smoothies, Smoothies and more Smoothies!

The grade 5s had a wonderful time becoming mini-bosses of their very own smoothie company. From designing logos, and creating recipes to performing advertising they learnt a lot and enjoyed a selection of berry yummy smoothies.

The German Program Lantern Festival

Many students enjoyed participating in the German Programs Lantern Festival last Thursday evening. The lantern festival is celebrated in Gemany annually and is based on the story of 'St Martin'. The event at TPS commenced with students decorating their lanterns, followed by delicious food including pretzels, sausages and the German program's famous lemon cake. Students on dusk then walked around the local neighbourhood singing songs and carrying their lanterns. It was a very colourful display!
