Cocurricular

Spotlight on Cocurricular - Woodwork!

Throughout Terms Two and Three students have been busily working away on individual projects under the expert guidance of Mr Brodie Sarre. Projects have ranged from chess boards to side tables with a whole manner of “mini projects” in between. Students have loved working on these projects because they have felt like they can follow their interests to produce something for themselves that isn’t being assessed. It is sentiments like these that remind me how important hobbies are for our mental health and the important role that Great Southern Grammar’s Cocurricular programme plays in helping young people find their passions.

We look forward to sharing these and many other exciting technologies projects with the school community at the upcoming Technologies Showcase on Thursday 13 September from 6.00pm to 8.00pm in the GSG Library.
