Year 6 in Profile

Every day I arrive at school, I know it is a place where I can feel included, safe, and ready for learning. My name is Atrina, and I am in Year 6 2023.  

What I love about Holy Family and Senior School in particular is all the leadership opportunities that everyone can take a part in. Leadership means guiding others to the right path, helping others make the right choices, and gives you a chance to be more responsible. As a school leader myself, my leadership skills have grown and developed so much, and I am still learning consistently throughout this role.

I am personally very passionate about learning in my life. The diversity of all the subjects in school and how learning is endless is fascinating. Senior School is not just about exams or tests, but our learning is incorporated into fun projects and experiences for every subject. Senior School has been and still is such a great experience for learning.

Do you like to feel like a leader or a role model for younger kids? 

My name is Ella and this is every day for me in Senior School. 

We learn new things constantly and my teachers are always there to help me if I don't understand what they are teaching. 

We are trusted with responsibility and freedom, which prepares us for High School. We all work together to achieve our goals but at the same time, we know how to work independently. We all share ideas and collaborate with our peers, we synergise.

Being in Senior School at Holy Family is the best thing I ever did. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
