Our Wellbeing Hub

As many of you would already know we have a wellbeing hub where students can go when they are feeling dis-regulated during class time and needing some time and space to get themselves back into the Green Zone.

The wellbeing team have recently refreshed the hub, creating areas in line with the Zones of Regulation. Miss Renee took classes through the hub and went over the procedures, and reminded students of how to use the hub and the resources in a respectful way.

There are protocols in how we use this space that are in line with our Child Safety standards. To use the hub students must seek permission from a staff member. Depending on the year level, the student may be accompanied by a staff member, another student, or be able to visit the hub on their own. Students have been taught to set a timer for 10 minutes and once the time is up they return to their classroom.
