Middle Years News

This week, the Middle Years assembly was hosted by Ryder, Stephanie, Quinn and Harry from 1405/06. The classes presented work from Term 2 - Art, HASS, English and Health. 

In English, the students created an advertisement for a famous Asian tourist attraction. They created a billboard advertisement and audio to go with it by using persuasive devices to make it interesting and to convince people to go there. Here are some examples:

In Health, the students were tasked with becoming "drink detectives" and made poster or skits about why you should drink water instead of soft drinks. 

Nōtan is a Japanese design concept involving the play and placement of light and dark elements. Here are some examples of the student's work:
