The Rural & Regional Muster in Cromwell, New Zealand, held at the Highlands Motorsport Park, was a fantastic event that exceeded all expectations. The beautiful location of Cromwell set the stage for a resounding success.

The festivities commenced with a warm welcome at the Highland Park Car Museum, where guests were treated to welcome drinks and a captivating pōwhiri ceremony. The Australian visitors gained insights into the significance of the New Zealand haka, making the evening not just informative but also thoroughly entertaining.

The following day started with a hearty breakfast and a captivating speech by Ray Ellis, CEO of First National

Henry van der Velden, a former FN agent and rural development expert, shared invaluable wisdom about the cherry growing industry. Paul Croft of Infinity Group, drew from his extensive 25 years of experience in property and finance, inspiring the audience with ambitious development plans and candid discussions on the struggles of rural area resource consents. Pete Jamieson, spoke of his inspiring journey transitioning from corporate life to the cherry industry dream while utilising his marketing expertise, captivated the audience.

Adding to the excitement, James Dicey, Chair of Otago's Winegrowers Association, livened things up with his larger-than-life personality. Throughout the day, Master of Ceremonies and Rural Ambassador, James Bateman, Business Growth Manager from FN Vic, skilfully navigated the day's proceedings, ensuring everyone had a great time.

The Gala Dinner & Charity Auction was the pinnacle of the week, a glamorous affair with a pink-themed twist. The evening was brimming with entertainment and generosity, as donations poured in and ‘horses’ were auctioned off, raising an impressive sum for First National Foundation, $14,830. The fictional horse race created moments of laughter and group singing, revealing the winners. The ‘Best Dressed’ title went to Jason Handreck, Property Manager from FN Rayner (Bacchus Marsh), while Tara Maxwell, Principal from FN Gore claimed the ladies' crown. She was friendly, efficient and the staff really liked her style and easy nature.    Looking after all compliance requirements, supporting the sales people and property managers meant I could comfortably step completely away.  I would highly recommend Jennifer if you need to take a break, time off or have family matters to attend to without worrying about the office.  Also happy to chat if anyone would like to know more'
