Principal's message
Hi Families,
Today brings us to the halfway point through the term. It feels as though Term 3 has only just started but I guess time goes fast when you're having fun!
Speaking of fun, these next few weeks at Alvie Primary School brings us much fun, from Indonesian Concerts, Book Week Parades to Ten Pin Bowling to just name a few.
Don't forget that this coming Monday is a Curriculum Day.
School Camp Yr3-6
Students and staff have finally recovered from our combined Polwarth Urban Camp! What a fantastic few days were had by all. Experiences from Eureka Sky Deck, ACMI, Melbourne River Cruises, Science Works, Bounce to the Melbourne Zoo at night. Our students challenges themselves and each other through a variety of experiences and developed stronger relationships with students from the 4 schools in attendance. The count down has already begun to the Anglesea Camp in 2024!
Wire wanted - 50m
Our little lambs require more space, we are looking for around 50m of ring lock wire to extend their area for the remainder of term. Do you have wire laying around that we could borrow?
Indonesian Concert - 'KANCIL - the mousedeer'
This coming Thursday we celebrate our first Indonesian Concert! Thursday is also the Indonesian Independence Day.
Puk Gray has been busily working with all students over the past few terms in preparation for the showcase. The event starts at 4:15pm and it is requested that all students remain in full school uniform.
As part of the evening we will be providing 150 x satay sticks and small rice bowls for students and families. Please bring a chair and warm weather clothing.
