Principal's Report

Sports Jumper day

Another successful Health and PE week culminated in Sports Jumper Day. The day involved a number of Football related activities and VCAL students held another successful BBQ to demonstrate learning outcomes.  VCAL uses an approach of applied learning, where students meet their learning outcomes in real world situations.

It was great to see students come to school in various jumpers and tops, representing many different sporting codes. The day was a great example of the college coming together as a community to celebrate and have fun

Final Day Term 3

I have previously mentioned the importance of attendance to student achievement. On the final day of Term 3, school will conclude at 2.20 pm.  This is otherwise a normal school day and it is vital that students attend school before enjoying a well-earned two week break.

As I have previously mentioned, not all sections of the school community will have a complete break during the holiday period.  Year 12 VCE students will be attending a number of revision sessions. I look forward to seeing them working hard preparing for the upcoming exams, and commend the dedication of teachers in running classes throughout his period.
