What is cooking at school

Students of Year 10, 11 and 12 VET Kitchen Operations worked together to provide Morning Tea for visiting primary school students and their parents on Open Morning.

VET Kitchen Operations students supported Friends of Lolotoe at the Taste of East Timor event on Saturday 27th May, cooking and serving East Timorese food and coffee.  The students excelled in their teamwork as they prepared and served the food from the commercial kitchen at Lot 19 Art Space, and served the coffee from the Konjo Mama Food Van.  Chris Sertori, Friends of Lolotoe, praised the students for the delicious food and coffee and for their good teamwork and service skills: "We are very grateful for all the hard work and preparation - and service with a smile! The students really helped to make the Taste of East Timor a successful event".
