What have students been up to?

Term 2 Outdoor Education News:-

Term two has been a busy time in Outdoor Education. Our Year 10/11 VET students as well as Year 9 Steiner students enjoyed a trip away to Mt Kooyoora in the last week of term one. In the first week of May our Year 9 Projects class and Year 9 Steiner students completed a 3-day Murray River Journey as part of Outdoor Education. On both experiences students studied the natural environment they visited as well as the Indigenous history of the area. Latrobe University 3rd year graduates assisted with both these programs. All students were engaged and worked well on these experiences. Thanks to all parents, staff and Latrobe University for making these journey based, small group education sessions possible. We look forward to some great snow trips in Term 3.
