Reconcilation Week
Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) – Thursday 27th July
Cost – $6.50
Students are asked to solve 30 problems in 75 minutes. The problems are designed to test mathematical thinking rather than focus on calculations themselves, thus such questions are designed so that they can be answered just as quickly without a calculator as with one. The problems get more difficult through the competition, so that at the end they are challenging to the most gifted students. Students of all standards will make progress through the problems, and also be challenged along the way.
Please see your maths teacher if you are interested in participating in this competition.

Music Support Group BBQ/Cakestall
Thank you to all those families who donated to our cake stall and to those who came and helped cook snags on the Saturday. We raised $1100 and this money goes straight back into our fabulous music programe at CSC. This program relies on extra fundraising to provide the highest quality instruments, facilities and teaching staff.
