Secondary News

This year our Secondary students have been set the challenge of being the best person they can be in all areas of school life. Students will achieve this by:
being focused and engaged in all lessons
being organised
completing homework on time using their diary
completing assessment tasks by the due date and presenting work to the best of their ability
being respectful in all relationships
representing themselves, their family, and the school well
We have been impressed with how the students have risen to meet this challenge so far, and we look forward to this continuing throughout the year.

Big Write & VCOP Information Session
Big Write & VCOP is a new teaching methodology for raising standards in writing through fast, fun, and lively teaching of the writing voice. This session will explain how the application of this methodology will affect how English and literacy are delivered to students in Year 7. It will also cover how this carries through into their home life. While there will be time for questions, if you have specific concerns about how this relates to your child, please make an interview with Jonathan McCallum to discuss this.
