VCAL Showcase

VCAL Showcase
On Tuesday the 19th of September we had our annual VCAL Showcase
What's the aim of the showcase?
The Showcase is an annual student organised and run event which aims to showcase students’ VCAL projects. The showcase is linked in with their VCAL outcomes and aids in developing necessary skills for school and beyond.
What was in the showcase?
Students presented their CHASE projects and major projects for the year. They each had to present their portfolio of work for the year and were assessed on the organisation, presentation and successful completion of these tasks.
We are extremely proud of how effectively our students have worked this year to achieve success.
When do they all finish for the year?
Students that have successfully met their outcomes will be finishing up at the end of this term. All other students will be required to return for the first two weeks of term four to try to complete any overdue outcomes. Students will then be completing a three week work experience block in which they will gain hands-on practical experience in their chosen field.
What's next for many of the students?
Many of our students successfully pathway into apprenticeships, full time employment or further study. We wish these students all the best with their future endeavours. Well done VCAL students !
