2016 Australian Maths Competition

On the 28th of July 122 St Albans Secondary College students competed in the Australian Maths Competition. The competition is a test that is designed to stretch even the most talent mathematicians so it is safe to say all of our students were extended. The test is sat at the same time by all students across Australia so we will see how they rank against the very best when the results come out later this year.
For competing in the competition all students will receive a certificate of participation, with some students achieving a credit or distinction. The students should be congratulated on their enthusiasm towards these external competitions. They are valuable learning experiences and will surely benefit from exposure to these.
