"Oh, the thinks you can think" when Dr. Seuss' best-loved characters collide and cavort in an unforgettable musical caper!

Now one of the most performed shows in schools, Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! A story that brings to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a child with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

Key Dates:

• Thursday 22 February- information session lunch time in PAC.
• Tuesday 6 March- pre-auditions after school 3:20pm- 5:00pm in PAC. Must attend if auditioning for a role.
• Wednesday 14 March- Auditions 10-12 students (3:30-5:30) in PAC.
• Thursday 15 March- Auditions 7-9 students (3:30-5:30) in PAC.
• Thursday 22 March- Callbacks (3:30-5:30) in PAC.
• Monday 26 March- Cast announced. Lists up in PAC.
• Thursday 29 March- Cast meeting after school. Rehearsal schedule and first reading.

Further Information

• Weekly rehearsals will be on Tuesday nights and some Wednesday and Friday nights.
• There will be 2 days in term 1 holidays dedicated to singing rehearsals.
• There will be 3 days of rehearsals in term 2 holidays.
• Some Saturday rehearsals will be required towards the end of term 2 and in the lead up to performance dates.
