This elective subject is aimed at those students in Years 9 and 10 who have an interest in the factors that govern sports performance. It may appeal to students who would like to find out how athletes achieve elite performance in sport and how the application of science is involved in the analysis and prescription of improved sports performance.Ā

The subject involves some theory investigations and practical activity work. Each unit runs independently and can be studied in either Year 9 or Year 10.
