A message from the Principal

Dear parents and carers,
Great news! The CHPS School Fair will be back on Saturday 19th November. Put the date in your diary and get ready for a day of fun. Thank you to Claire Sandow and Victoria Keogh for putting their hands up to take on the role of Fair Coordinators. They cannot do it alone and will soon be doing a call-out for parents/carers to join the Fair Committee. There are many roles to fill on the Fair Committee so if you are interested in finding out more please get in touch with Claire and Victoria at chps.fair.co@outlook.com.
We will also see the return of our senior school production in Term 3. We are excited that we will once again see our grades 4-6 students on the stage. The production will be held across two nights - Wednesday 31st August and Thursday 1st September. More details can be found in this newsletter on the Exciting Opportunities with First Nations Communitiespage.
Our Annual Report 2021 was reviewed and endorsed at our recent School Council meeting and is now available for viewing on our school website. This report outlines our performance in learning, engagement and wellbeing across 2021 along with providing information on our financial position.
Well done to our grade 3 and 5 students who completed their NAPLAN assessments over the last two weeks. A huge effort to sit the four tests for the first time. We are proud of the positivity they showed throughout the process.
Take care.
Megan
