Swimming at Padua: Term 3

As we enter the second semester of the year, we start to think about summer 2020/2021 and our planning for summer sport.   Swimming is one of these sports that requires a lot of planning and, for our dedicated swimmers, that also includes year round training.

We will be kicking off our 2020/2021 season in Term 4 with selection trials for the CaSSSA team.  This means you should start thinking about fitness and training.  We have some great coaches at the United Swim Club and they run training year-round at Padua Pool.  The Mount Alvernia College pool will regain enough warmth to start our own sessions back up early in Term 4 also.

If you are interested in being in the pool now, head over to https://united.swimming.org.au to start.  There is a cost to cover the winter terms, but you may train for free with United in both Terms 4 and 1.  It is strongly encouraged to also join the club, which will give full access to all Swimming Queensland Meets with the club.
