Senior School

July 2020

Under the guidance of Mrs Butler, Mrs Galvin and Mr Beckley, senior school students and staff are gathering in C7 to make their own masks during lunch. We followed patterns from the internet using a range of fabrics. It is fantastic to see a range of skills being shared between students and staff. Some had never sewed before and were extremely pleased with their mask/s. Mr Beckley continues to do a great job tending to machine issues, Mrs Galvin demonstrates her straight line sewing skills, Ms Bowman & Babu patience and Ms Zorbas perseverance!!

Great team work! Not only do we have personal protective gear, but new skills!

Congratulations

Several more students have been successful with their VU Guaranteed applications. Well done. Please read the fine print!

As a VU Guaranteed applicant, you will be guaranteed a place at VU or VU Polytechnic, but not necessarily for a particular course.

Your VU Guaranteed application is not a course application. All VU bachelor courses and selected VU Polytechnic courses are listed on VTAC. If your VU Polytechnic course is not available through VTAC, you will need to apply directly to VU Polytechnic to be eligible for a place.

You'll still need to satisfy the admission criteria for the courses you preference in VTAC or apply directly for. If you do not meet the admission criteria, we will guarantee a place in an alternative course.

Careers

Students need to access the Careers website https://www.ksccareers.com.au/  and under the Post school Options tab they will find all necessary information regarding Universities, TAFEs, apprenticeships etc.

Students are encouraged to start undertaking plans for tertiary applications by navigating the website and selecting courses of interest. Students are also encouraged to book an appointment with Careers to discuss their plans and if they need additional support with pathways.
