It has been a challenging year for all, however universities have been working harder than ever to get their message out. Many virtual information sessions have been organized to ensure students preparing for the next step can be as informed as they would be if able to attend face to face open days and information sessions. 

 

This link has a list of universities across Australian hosting upcoming open days, you have more opportunity than ever to visit a variety of institutions.  You could be in the ACT in the morning and WA by the afternoon!

DEAKIN UNIVERSITY ACCELERATE PROGRAM 

Open to current Year 11 students, Applications are now open for the 2021 Deakin Accelerate program

 

If you are a high-achieving student, you can boost your ATAR and fast-track your uni studies with Deakin Accelerate. Complete two units of a first-year university subject in Year 12, and get a taste for the exciting adventure that’s to come.  Applications close at 11.59pm, Friday December 4.

VICTORIA UNIVERSITY

Victoria University (VU) is one of only six universities in Australia that offers both TAFE and university courses, from Certificate courses through to Masters and PhDs. You can begin your studies at VU Polytechnic and complete a TAFE qualification and, if you choose to pathway to a tertiary degree, you will receive recognition for prior learning. THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH AUSTRALIA 

Are you thinking about moving to Adelaide to study? Many of our students have moved here to come to University after graduating from high school elsewhere in Australia. 

 

Read on to learn more about how you can apply to study at UniSA using your interstate year 12 qualifications.  This information will be helpful for all SA university applicants.

 

COLLARTS 

The Collarts Early Access Program, allows Year 12 VTAC applicants to interview or audition now and be eligible for an early Advisory Letter within 24 to 48 hours of completing their admissions appointment.

 

Applicants MUST submit their application through VTAC and will be contacted by a Future Student Advisor to book their appointment so you can discover more about what it means to be a Collarts student. This is open to all Year 12 applicants (VCE, unscored VCE and VCAL, HSC, QCE, and other state equivalents). Best of all, there are no ATAR or subject score requirements. 

 

CHARLES STURT UNIVERSITY 

Charles Sturt Advantage early offer program has helped more than 700 students secure an offer to study with us in 2020. Charles Sturt University is looking beyond academic skills and searching for people with soft skills. Those personal attributes we value and believe you really need to succeed at study and life. 

 

ST HILDA'S COLLEGE 

Located in the University of Melbourne’s precinct, St Hilda’s College offers accommodation options for students and is holding a Virtual Open Day on Saturday 15 August.

The SuniTAFE Careers Open Day is moving online this year and will encompass a week of activities.
