Principal Reflections

A Short Message from Dr Jake

Dear Parents & Friends,

After ten school weeks our term is over and like most people we are looking forward to the school holidays.

Holidays are an important part of life for it is through holidays that people take time to rest, regenerate and rebuild themselves in preparation for the next part of the working life.

We have had a great term and your children have benefited from the excellent teaching and learning activities provided by your class teachers.

Now we provide opportunity for you to spend time with your children to enjoy the essence of being a family. Your children need time also to relax, regenerate and rebuild themselves in preparation for their next term of learning.

We look forward to all the great things that will come our way in Term 3.

National Excellence in Teaching Awards (NEiTA)

The NEiTA Foundation is encouraging parents, students and schools to nominate extraordinary educators who have displayed remarkable dedication, passion and creativity for a National Excellence in Teaching Award.

This year, NEiTA wants to recognise the role early childhood, primary and secondary teachers and principals played in student’s lives as Australia emerged from the COVID-19 health crisis. Is there a St Edward's teacher that you feel is worthy of a nomination? Nominations can be made until 17 July 2022 at www.neita.com

Should you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us as we are only too happy to help.

Peace & Best Wishes

Dr Jake Madden
