Chapel Mass

A special thank you to Mr Lee’s Year 10 Religion class for hosting our Chapel Mass. We were also joined by Old Boy and seminarian Daniel O’Kelly (2013) for our celebration. Fr Joey provided an insightful look at the Gospel of the day in relation to avoid being judgemental. The reading spoke about the hypocrisy of judging others when we clearly have our own faults. We should look inwards towards our own wrong doings before we pass judgment on others.

Winter Appeal

Our Winter Appeal for 2022 has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our efforts to collect non-perishable items for the Jesuit Refugee Service and warm clothing for St Vincent de Paul. We are now in our delivery phase of the appeal. Early Tuesday morning our goods were delivered to the Jesuit Refugee Service at Parramatta. Our goods were gratefully accepted and they will be distributed to those seeking the safety that Australia affords to residents.

Our goods for St Vincent de Paul were delivered to Brookvale today. As always our community is so generous with our donations. What we provide gives comfort to those living on the margins and our actions are an attempt to live by the ideals of Blessed Edmund Rice.
