Science of Sleep

Students in Year 12 Psychology are currently studying sleep and consciousness as part of the Unit 4 Area of Study 1 course "How do levels of consciousness affect mental processes and behaviour?" In particular, they consider the nature and importance of sleep and apply biological, psychological and social factors to analyse the effects of sleep disturbances on psychological functioning, including mood, cognition and behaviour.
