SENIOR SCHOOL PRODUCTION

"The course of true love never did run smooth" Act 1, Scene 1

This year's Senior School play is A Midsummer Night’s Dream - Shakespeare’s classic comedy which explores the themes of love, magic, dreams and mischief.

As the city prepares for the royal Athenian wedding we meet young lovers running away from their problems, fairies causing mischief and a group of mechanicals rehearsing a play for the royal wedding. When a love potion goes wrong, will everything be fixed in time for the wedding?

The cast of Senior students have been working hard to bring this wonderful story to life and are excited to share it with an audience. We invite you to join us in July at TLC Church for an evening of adventure and fun.

We look forward to seeing you there!

KINDER TINKERING PROJECT

We are wondering if you can help? Team Kinder would like to introduce a tinkering project into Kinder in Term Three. Tinkering offers children an alternate way to develop their fine motor, cognitive and communication skills by investigating, rebuilding, constructing and planning.

But how can we help, I hear you ask?

Team Kinder are looking for donations of items that are in good condition but no longer work that we can take apart such as: computer towers, toasters, kettles etc. As we only have flat head screw drivers and posi-drive screwdrivers, we can only accept items that can be unfastened with these screwdrivers.

If you think that you are able to help us, please contact Kirsty at kmeese@bhcs.vic.edu.au regarding any items that you would like to donate. Unfortunately we can not accept any tinkering donations before they have been checked if they are suitable for our use.

WE ARE HIRING

A few opportunities to join our enthusiastic team here at BHCS have been placed on our website!  We're currently looking for:

  • Learning Assistant - Integration Aide (Senior School)
  • Finance and Payroll Officer

If you, or someone you know, are interested in knowing more about these positions, read more by visiting https://www.bhcs.vic.edu.au/careers

All enquiries about these positions should be directed to applications@bhcs.vic.edu.au
