Dear BAMS Families,
It's the final stretch! I have mixed feelings about sending our kids off for the summer. Of course I enjoy the freedom and fun that summer brings and most of the students do too, but I am always sad to see everyone off for a few months. The school is alive when kids are in it! I am excited for out 8th graders who begin their freshman year in a few short months.
Our 8th grade move-up ceremony is scheduled for this Wednesday, June 15th at 6:00 PM. We will hold the ceremony outside. I will include details and links to the livestream below.
The last school day for the 8th grade will be on move-up day, June 15th and it is a full school day with a normal dismissal at 3:30 pm. As soon as they move-up, we do not have them back in the building. The last day for 7th grade is Friday, June 17th. That is a 1/2 day with a 12:30 dismissal.
Enjoy the summer!
Sincerely,
Keith Lyman- Principa.l
BAMS is partnering with the B&G Club of Brattleboro to offer a summer program from August 1-12. This keeps a perfect continuum for kids doing other programming in July. We are opening it up to incoming 7th grade students through incoming freshman (9th grade).
Please check-out the flyer here. Sign-up quickly so you have a spot. They will go fast!
Due to the partnership, this opportunity is FREE of charge.
The weather looks terrific for Wednesday evening so we are planning to move forward as scheduled on Wednesday evening at 6 PM. Click here for the letter that was mailed home in May.
