The picture as shown above is indicative only. To place orders please click on the Trybooking link.

If you are at all unsure regarding sizing you may like to size up from the regular Rangeview polo top as feedback from last year was that due to the panelling it was a little smaller than the usual Rangeview polo.

Thunderstorm Asthma

Parents and carers are reminded of an increased risk of seasonal asthma, hay fever and epidemic thunderstorm asthma during grass pollen season, which typically occurs between October and December.

Epidemic thunderstorm asthma events are triggered by a combination of high grass pollen levels and a certain type of thunderstorm. People with a history of asthma, undiagnosed asthma or hay fever are at an increased risk during this time.

This risk is increased further in people who have poorly treated hay fever and asthma. The best way to reduce and prevent symptoms of asthma or hay fever and reduce unnecessary absences from school is to follow an up-to-date asthma action plan or hay fever treatment plan provided by a GP or specialist.

If you wish to check the expiry dates of your child's ventolin/asmol please do not hesitate to contact our First Aid Officer, Robynne Hoskin as she is ALWAYS more than happy to speak to you regarding your child's medical concerns.

Remain vigilant for COVID-19

It is important for staff and students to manage any hay fever or asthma symptoms, as these conditions can produce symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss or change of sense of smell or taste, which are similar to COVID-19 symptoms.

If students experience these symptoms in different or worse ways to their usual hay fever or asthma symptoms, they should get tested for COVID-19 and must remain at home until they receive their results.

If you wish to check the expiry dates of your child's ventolin/asmol please do not hesitate to contact our First Aid Officer, Robynne Hoskin as she is ALWAYS more than happy to speak to you regarding your child's medical concerns.

Lost Property

At the end of sorting we had a mountain of un-named lost property.  All lost property has been washed and hung up outside the second-hand uniform shop ready for collection. We will now leave these items hung outside the second hand uniform shop for 2 weeks once the students return to onsite learning.  After this date any remaining items will be donated back to the second-hand uniform shop for resale.

2022 Intentions

Thank you to the families who have already notified the office that they are planning not to return to Rangeview in 2022.  If you have not informed the office as yet your intention not to return to Rangeview in 2022 we would appreciate it if you could notify us in writing as soon as possible as we move forward with plans for classes next year.

If you still have not enrolled your Foundation student for 2022 we would appreciate it if you could send through your enrolment as a matter of urgency as we are already planning and organising class groups and transition sessions.

Survey Help

Dear Liz Barr,

I am a Master of Journalism student at the University of Melbourne. For my final project I am writing a series of articles (for publication in mainstream media) about ebooks and the digital reading platform Epic.

I am looking to interview parents and children about their experience using Epic.

I wondered whether you would be happy to share this request with your school community, such as in your newsletter?

I have attached some written wording if that is helpful.

Any families that might be happy to be interviewed can contact me on pstock@student.unimelb.edu.au

Thank you,
