Level 4 News

It has been a long time waiting but it has finally happened! Year 4’s will be returning to school on the 26th of October. Saying your teachers are excited is an understatement. You are all doing an amazing job completing online work and attending the morning meetings on WebEx.  

This week in Writing students have begun planning persuasive speech writing. It is going to be really exciting hearing the speeches about “An activity everyone should try” when looking at all the brainstorming and planning students have completed. 

In Mathematics students were looking at triangles and going on a triangle scavenger hunt at home to discover items that are triangle shaped. They also completed a tricky Friday number talk which involved moving match sticks to create 4 equilateral triangles.

 In Inquiry students have done an amazing job at completing the information and colouring in their lap book, all about the First Fleet from the preparation to the actual voyage. 

A small reminder to all students to continue to keep staying up to date with the class information on Seesaw prior to going back to school to ensure everyone arrives with all that they need to start the day. We are all looking forward to seeing you very soon!
