Level 3 News

This week Level 3 have created their own persuasive writing piece. Our topic was “An Activity Everyone Should Try”. Students needed to follow the writing process by brainstorming and planning their ideas, then draft and then to revise and edit their work.

In Reading, our focus was on identifying the Authors Purpose. We went on a scavenger hunt around our houses to find books or texts that either persuasive, inform, entertain or explain. 

In Maths, we focussed on money. Students had to find multiple ways to make a dollar, choose what they wanted for lunch and then work out the correct change.

We continued our work on our First Fleet lapbooks, as well as watch another episode of “My Place”. We are so excited to have you all back in the classrooms. We can’t wait!
