The Foundation students are back at school! And how excited they were!

We were delighted for the long-awaited return of our students back in the classroom last week. They were full of energy and smiles and ready to get back into face-to-face learning.

We hit the ground running and put our gratitude skills into practise. We created a Gratitude Garden where we could share all the things we are grateful for. It was a great way to reflect on the time we have spent at home and remember what is really important to us.

Another highlight for our first week back was making Thank you cards for those that helped us during remote learning. Our cards included a personal message and some creative flowers. The students enjoyed the challenge of making the flowers.

The children have had lots of fun during Play-based learning time. They are enjoying reconnecting with their peers and learning new things.

We are looking forward to continuing building our routines to ensure a smooth transition back to school.
