Let's see what science students experienced in week 4

Foundation

Foundation students described the weather and how it effects our choice of clothing and activities.

Year 1/2

Students compared and contrasted the habitat and features of two small animals, using a Venn diagram.

Year 3/4

Students classified animals as belonging to an identified group, using a branching key.

Year 5/6

Year 5/6 students identified adaptations of different desert species and explained which structural features of animals might help them survive in the desert.

Science at home

If you would like to do some science at home, here's some ideas:

  • As part of National Pollinator Week (13- 21 November) you could count wild pollinators or join the Waggle Dance Challenge. Australian Pollinator Week acknowledges our important and unique insect pollinators during our spring
