A Saints Student is Burning the Rubber  at Queensland Raceway

Matthew Boylett, in Year 10, started racing a couple of weekends ago.  He had an amazing first big race weekend qualifying 9th out of 35 cars, only one second off the lap time from the front cars. He competed in two races on Saturday, which were eight and 10 laps and finished 14th in both. He made some ground and lost a few spots.

On the Sunday, he had a 21-lap race in the middle of the day in 35-degree heat. He did an awesome job to finish in 11th place. He placed 12th overall for the weekend with all points added. There was some good competition, and his parents are very proud of how he drove among 35 cars at the age of 14.

Matthew competed in the five races of the EFS Cup round at Queensland Raceway and was back in action there from 20-23 April.
