From the Head of Sport

It has been great to see the variety of sports that a number of our students are involved in outside of school. Please remember that there may also be a school pathway through NSWCIS for your sport so come and see me and let me know what sports you are involved in.

Congratulations: Rowing

On Sat 18th March, Sophia Whitelaw and Jessica Harris represented BMGS at the 2023 NSW Schoolgirl Head of the River by competing in the Schoolgirl Year 9 Double Scull held at Sydney International Regatta Centre.

They started the day early with a 7.25am race and took out second place in their Heat, comfortably qualifying them for the finals.

Later that morning they competed in the Final of the SGYr9 2 x and achieved the excellent result of a Bronze; a very well-earned podium finish! I look forward to hearing of Sophia's and Jessica’s future successes. Well done on this great achievement, girls.
