Principals Report

Dear Homestead Community, 

It feels as if though, just as we begin the school year, we are already farewelling the first term. 

I am delighted to report that it has been a highly positive and successful term at our school. We have had the pleasure of welcoming many new students and families to our school community, and it has been a wonderful experience getting to know them.

Our students have settled into their classes and have shown enthusiasm and purpose in learning. This is a life long habit and a very important one. They have actively engaged in their studies and impressive academic and personal development. 

Our teachers have worked tirelessly to create a nurturing and inclusive environment and our students have responded positively to these efforts.

Our school has been bustling with activities such as excursions, the Homestead Sports program, GameOn (gamers club), inter-school sport, debating, cultural day practice, transition programs, wellbeing day, private study and more. It is heartwarming to see our students engage in a variety of events.

As we approach Term 2, we are excited to build on the success of Term 1 and continue to work closely with our students to prepare them for their upcoming assessments and exams. We understand that like Term 1, Term 2 will too go by quickly, and we are committed to providing our students with the necessary support to achieve to their full potential. 

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers, staff and parents for their unwavering support and committment to our students'. Together, we create  the positive learning environment we all enjoy at Homestead.
